The room is super cute and clean, and the staff is helpful and accomodating. It is a perfect location if you want to walk around Koreatown and enjoy the spas, food, shopping, etc. It is quite noisy as you in the middle of the city, but I slept great with white noise running. Plus the beds are really comfortable.

My biggest concern was the bathroom. I understand it's an older building, but some of the photos misled me to believe they renovated most. I didn't like the tub overflowing and touching my feet. We dealt with it since we were exhausted. However, the front desk was very understanding and gave us credit for the cute café next door. The rooms have AC and a nice charm to them. That was clean. Microwaves are on request. It's also true they have complementary wine tastings. Parking is a lot, so we parked elsewhere. It's safe enough to walk nearby. We'd stay again for the right price and circumstances.

First time staying in K-Town and the location of the Normandie is fire. You have Hmart 2 blocks away, delicious K-town eateries adjacent to the hotel and other great points of interest within walking distance. But its LA and youre better off driving (in my opinion). The staff are amazing, very polite and attentive. Adam the front desk manager allowed me to check-in early which was God-sent and highly appreciated. The building is an history monument and therefore the rooms and layout is pretty unique. The Lobby is very inviting and the furnishings are comfortable. Would highly recommend staying at this historic landmark!

Love love love the historical vibe of this cute hotel! The story and people behind the hotel makes for a great read - and I even heard it was the third most haunted hotel in LA? I’m not into all that (despite the weird sounds when I opened the bathroom door late at night), but it still made the stay even more interesting. The decor in the lobby is perfection. I can’t believe I didn’t take any pictures. The only issue with the room was the air conditioning just feeling a bit “off”. Service was fantastic. Great location - especially if you love South Korean food and culture. Overall, a great stay!

My family LOVED this hotel. The location is amazing if you like to eat near the hotel you stay in. The area is a bit rundown but didn't feel unsafe, at all. The staff was fabulous! Always friendly and attentive. The rooms were comfortable and nicely decorated. We appreciate the the feel of being "back in time" with the old tile and wooden floors. Beautifully renovated, this hotel seemed elegant. Cassel's hamburgers - attached to the hotel lobby - was a nice treat. Food was tasty! Wine tastings were a nice touch. Bring ear plugs as the city noise is a bit much in some rooms. :) We recommend highly!

I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. I stayed for 4 days, and everything was absolutely clean and well maintained. The room was spotless when I arrived, and housekeeping did a great job every single day. Fresh towels, neatly made beds, and a very comfortable atmosphere throughout my stay. The interior is beautiful and elegant, with a charming historic character that makes the place feel special and cozy at the same time. The lobby is stunning, and the rooms are quiet and comfortable — perfect for relaxing after a long day. You can really feel that the hotel cares about details and guest comfort. I felt very comfortable and safe here and would definitely stay again. Highly recommended!

This hotel is an older, more historic building in Korea Town, but has an upscale charm about it. When you enter, it's nice furniture and dark wood make it feel like it's happening. Rooms are pleasant with glass cups. Microwave and hot water kettle you do have to request, but the bring them up quickly. Mini fridge has ample space for a few days worth of stuff or half gallons of milk. Rooftop was closed when I went, so bummer I couldn't see the city from there. Access from metro is just a block away. Lots of food options within walking distance. The nearest grocery, Hmart, is close, but is more expensive than going to downtown to shop at Smart and Final or Safeway. Good for some Asian inspired food though.

Stayed six nights at Hotel Normandie and absolutely loved it. Beautiful 100-year-old boutique hotel with original hardwood floors, vintage tile, and charming historic details throughout. The staff was exceptional — Adam and the team truly went above and beyond. Great central location between LAX and Burbank Airport, with tons of restaurants nearby. Fun nightlife close by, including Break Room 86 (80s theme) and Kiss Kiss Bang Bang (70s disco vibe). Loved the Normandy Club bar and the complimentary nightly wine tasting hosted by CT — such a thoughtful touch. Charming, convenient, and full of character. Would absolutely stay again.
